LODGE HOUSE

LODGE HOUSE is a large new-build private house situated on a steep harbourside plot in Sydney, Australia. The client brief included a family house, spa, home cinema, garden house and pool. In order to visually minimise the large built area, the spaces are separated into a series of stone-clad blocks, wedged into the fall of the slope. Similarly, green landscaped terraces unify the building with the existing dense foliage and sandstone rock stratas of site. (Designs for Tobias Partners Architects).
